A trenchless crossing is unforgiving: the pipe goes in once, and anything that damages the coating on the way through is buried with it. Gulf Fast Trading Company supplies the spacers, seals, protection and locating equipment that HDD and trenchless contractors in Saudi Arabia use on crossings.
Our casing spacers and end seals range exists specifically for this work. The locating equipment on this page is the same range used by utility survey crews, because the first job on any crossing is knowing what is already in the ground.
Buried pipe and cable are traced and depth-checked before a bore is set out. Receivers, broadband transmitters and inspection cameras cover the work.
Spacers carry the carrier pipe centrally through the casing so the coating never touches steel. Non-metallic and high-temperature versions cover the usual specifications.
End seals close the casing annulus against water and debris ingress once the carrier pipe is through.
Rockshield and abrasion protection keep the coating intact during pull-back, and pipe end protection keeps the bevel clean until it is welded.
Joints either side of the crossing are coated and holiday-tested like any other field joint.
Rollers, cradles and slings support the string on the roll-out before pull-back.
