Tuf-N-Nuff — stocked and supplied in Saudi Arabia

Tuf-N-Nuff pipe rockshield is stocked and supplied in Saudi Arabia by Gulf Fast Trading Company as part of our backfill protection range.

Who uses it

Pipeline construction crews wrap rockshield over the coating before lowering-in and backfilling, to protect the coating from rock and sharp fill in the trench.

Why source Tuf-N-Nuff from Al Khobar

Coating damage from backfill is found later as a holiday, a CP anomaly or a dig-up. Rockshield is cheap insurance against all three, and it is needed in quantity at the lowering-in stage, which is exactly when a long lead time hurts.

Questions we are asked

What does rockshield do?

It forms a protective layer over the pipe coating so that rock and coarse backfill cannot damage it during lowering-in and backfilling.

What widths and roll lengths are available?

Tell us the pipe diameter and the length of line to be protected and we will confirm the roll size and quantity.

Do you supply lowering-in equipment too?

Yes. Our range includes pipe cradles, lowering-in belts, round slings and rollers.
